Teentalk France
interviews

Teentalk France Interviews is a digital learning material for learning French. It exercises your ”ear for languages” in a way that students find motivating and interesting. The program offers unique authentic material which can used for language learning in many different ways. It is equally suitable for support material for class as a basis for homework.

Teentalk France Interviews consists of the video interviews of 20 French high school students. In these videos the students talk about subjects close to their heart, such as school, hobbies, and their plans for the future. The interviews are unscripted and unrehearsed, and the questions have been formulated by a group of Finnish pupils.

You can approach the material in two different ways. You can either interview one student at a time, or you can move from topic to topic and listen to what each student had to say about a particular subject.

Teentalk France Interviews covers 17 topics which deal with school, leisure and society. For an easier access, the authentic material has been divided into 360 question-answer pairs.

Each answer is also available in written form. These word-for-word transcriptions make it easier to understand what is being said.

Authentic, unscripted language is a valuable resource for a language learner, but it is important to offer that same content in a grammatically correct form as well. For this purpose the program offers a paraphrased version of each answer, recorded in a studio.

The material lends itself to both independent and group work and is perfect for creating tasks for students at all levels of learning.

Teentalk France Interviews can be used everywhere seamlessly thanks to the increased network capacity. By using the internet, the program can even be accessed remotely. Teentalk France Interviews is compatible with computers, smart boards, tablets, and smartphones.
