Die Aktionskarten offers the beginner a virtual immersion in the German language as well as more traditional reading and writing exercises. The program uses everyday German in a communicative setting - it includes almost 2,000 key words used around the home and other familiar surroundings.

Die Aktionskarten belongs to the same product family as TrumpCards, using the same ideas and principles and the same graphic environment. There are interactive exercises in each of the featured rooms or environments (bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom, children’s room, yard/garden, town, winter sports resort, beach, sports field, school and zoo) and everything can be replayed and printed out. The narrator is a native German speaker who patiently guides the learner forward step-by-step. The linguistic structures and colloquial expressions are repeated again and again and will thus be embedded in the learner’s brain.

The Teacher’s Zone includes transcripts of all audio material, ideas for group and pair work, a glossary and keys to all exercises. All the teacher’s material can be printed out.
